2. Television ads will begin on 10/16 or 10/17 on MTV, VH1, TNT, Bravo, IFC and E! I am told that TRL, Howard Stern are and possibly Pro Wrestling are scheduled to air the spots.

3. For people in the LA & NYC, K-ROQ will be extensively promoting the film on their Concert Line, Event Promotions (Live Bait 10/23, K-ROQ Club Night 10/15 or 10/22) as well as K-ROQ Van Promotion (Santa Anita Concert Festival 10/13, Lit In-Store, 10/16). Apparently several clubs in NYC will also be playing the trailer. K-ROQ will host a special LA pre-release screening of the film on October 24th at the Laemmle Sunset 5, featuring a Q&A with Richard Kelly/Sean McKittrick and possibly some of the film's cast.

4. In Texas, there will be a special screening at the Austin Film Festival.

5. The Sundance Channel will be airing an "Anatomy of a Scene" episode on the film's Tears For Fears "Head Over Heels" steadicam sequence through the school. Having seen the film, I expect this show will be REALLY COOL. It is one of the best sequences in the film, and deserves special recognition. See this URL for airdates and a summary (it doesn't appear updated quite yet, but I'm sure it will soon):

6. For those of you in NYC attending the Halloween parade, keep your eyes peeled for a special appearance by Frank the bunny.

7. Also, keep your eyes and ears peeled for Gary Jules & Mike Andrews' cover of "Mad World" (another Tears For Fears tune) and the music video, directed by Richard Kelly.

8. Finally, for those of you cruising the Sunset strip in LA, next week there will be a big billboard for the movie on the east end of the House of Blues. (If anyone can take a picture, please e-mail me at lkelly@infi.net)

9. The LA premiere will be Oct. 22 at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, with a follow-up party at Las Palmas.

10. Keep checking the official website www.donniedarko.com for more tidbits of info about the film.
