Noah Wyle is the most recent addition to the cast of Donnie Darko. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Wyle will play a high school physics teacher in the film that tells the dark fantasy-science fiction story of a troubled high school kid, to be played by Jake Gyllenhaal. Drew Barrymore, whose Flower Films production company is making the film, will have a small role in the film as a teacher as well. Shooting is set to start next month with Richard Kelly helming.
